BTEC Extended Diploma (Level 3) Sport & Exercise ScienceThis course, based on industry-recognisedoccupational standards, will help youdevelop your specialist knowledge, practicalskills and understanding in areas includingnutrition, physiology, fitness, sportsmassage and sports injuries. You will havethe opportunity to gain a wide knowledgeof different sports while developing in-depthanalysis of your chosen sports throughour Sports Academies and enrichmentprogrammes. You will also have theopportunity to complete the CommunitySports Leadership Award (CSLA) and HigherSports Leadership Award (HSLA) duringthis course, enabling you to coach a varietyof different sports and activities. You willalso complete a Level 1 National GoverningBody award of your choice and First Aidqualification. This course will give you anexcellent, all round experience and a realhead start at university or work.Entry RequirementsYou need at least six GCSE at grade C or above, includingEnglish, Science and Maths.
