This is a national discount card for students, whichmeans you get money off at lots of big name high streetshops and online retailers. You will automatically becomea member of YCSU if you come to Yeovil College and youcan then apply for a discount card. Come and see us atour September Freshers’ Fair when you start your courseto find out how!FundraisingYCSU is serious about fundraising – but we like to havefun doing it! As well as straight forward collections, welike to run events which students can get involved in.YCSU has supported charities including WaterAid, Helpfor Heroes, Lord’s Larder, St Margaret’s Hospice and thePiers Simon Appeal. If there’s a charity you’d like to help,come and tell us about it!Supporting YouWe’re really lucky that Yeovil College has a great team ofstaff dedicated to supporting us as students, but it’s notalways easy to know who to go to. Sometimes it can beeasier to speak with one of us to begin with, or for minorproblems – like finding the loos! Above all, YCSU is thereto support you and help you find the right person to talk towhen you’re ready.Get involved in Your YCSUYCSU has a committee of about ten students from acrossthe College. Each person takes on a specific role, suchas the Chairperson, the Activities Officer and the StudentGovernor.
