Intermediate Apprenticeship/Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 2/3)HairdressingOn these Apprenticeships, you will developthe necessary skills and experience to workin the Hairdressing industry as a stylist.While at college, you will be based inone of our modern hair salons, giving youthe opportunity to develop and enhanceyour practical skills in a realistic workingenvironment and practise your creativityunder the supervision of highly experiencedand qualified teaching staff. BothApprenticeships promote teamwork, goodpersonal conduct and professionalism.Entry RequirementsFor Level 2, you need three grades C or above at GCSE,including Maths and English, NVQ Level 1 or a Certificatein Salon Services at Credit or Distinction Level. For Level 3,you need NVQ (Level 2) in Hairdressing or equivalent.Course ExpensesKit (includes everything you will need to complete thecourse) – approximately £138. Uniform – approximately£57. Students are required to be in uniform and have theirfull kit for all sessions.Trips/ResidentialsThere are opportunities to visit industry fairs as part of thiscourse. Previous destinations include Salon Internationalevents in London and the Wella Hair Show in Paris.Career Prospects/ProgressionIf you successfully complete the IntermediateApprenticeship, then you will be qualified to work in asalon as a junior stylist.
