Where the title “cross-border services” is used in the description element, theentry shall be read to apply to the cross border mode, the consumption abroad mode,and the presence of natural persons mode for supply of services.6. Where the title “investment” is used in the description element, the entry shall beread to apply only to the commercial presence mode for supply of services.7. Any aspects of such an entry which relate to investment in goods only, areretained solely for transparency purposes.8. In accordance with Article 12.8(1)(a) (Non-Conforming Measures), the articles ofthis Agreement specified in the Obligations Concerned element of an entry do notapply to the laws, regulations, procedures, requirements or practices identified, in thecase of Chile, in the Measures element of that entry, and in the case of New Zealandand Singapore, in the Description element of that entry.9. For Chile, the Measures element represents the binding element for thepurposes of interpretation of the entry.10. For New Zealand and Singapore, all elements of the entry shall be considered intheir totality for the purposes of its interpretation.III-Headnote-2
