Potential impactsConstruction noiseThe construction works associated with the proposed car park would consist of thefollowing main activities:Demolition;Earthworks to level and grade the site; andConstruction of the car park.Construction works are proposed to be undertaken during standard daytime periods(0700 to 1600 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays). The proposeddemolition, excavation and construction works would be undertaken using standardplant and equipment frequently used on many other similar sites. In order to assessthe potential noise and vibration impacts during construction, a number of scenarioscomprising typical plant and equipment were developed.
