DISASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTING THE MECHANICAL PARTS8.12 Board Base ChassisDetaching the board base chassis(1) Detach the top and shield covers (see Sections 8.1 and 8.6).(2) Disconnect the five CIS flexible cables from the CIS boards.CIS boardCIS flexible cable(3) Remove the ten M3L6 binding head screws holding the data control board and power board.M3L6 binding head screwM2L6 binding head screwPower boardData control boardCenter CIS board(4) Remove the five M3L4 binding head screws holding the board base chassis.M3L4 binding head screwBoard base chassisSK200-UM-251-9370 8-12

DISASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTING THE MECHANICAL PARTS(5) Gently lift up the front of the board base chassis, and then pull out the CIS flexible cables under theboard base chassis.Note:There are CIS flexible cables connected to the CIS unit under the board base chassis.Therefore, do not lift up the board base chassis forcibly.(6) Lay the board base chassis down at the rear of the main unit as shown below.Reattaching the board base chassis(1) Reattach the board base chassis by reversing the sequence of steps in which it was detached.SK200-UM-251-9370 8-13
