Grants <strong>of</strong> up to $15,000 and interest free loans <strong>of</strong> up to $50,000.Airport Community Improvement Plan (ACIP) – <strong>Municipal</strong> Fee RebateProgram including those related to Planning, Legal and Building permits, a<strong>Municipal</strong> Tax assistance Program providing 100% relief in year one <strong>of</strong> theincreased assessed value <strong>of</strong> the improvement, 66% in year two and 33% in yearthree, and a 50% Landfill Tipping Fee reduction to $10/tonneFaçade Improvement Loan Program -designed to help property ownersfinance building façade improvements, this interest-free loan program providesfunding up to $15,000 per municipal address, to a maximum <strong>of</strong> $45,000 perproperty owner.Residential Development Charge Grant Program—The <strong>City</strong> may provide agrant for part or the entire <strong>City</strong> residential development charge for eligible unitsbuilt within the Central Business District Renaissance Community ImprovementArea.Increased Assessment Grant Program—The <strong>City</strong> may provide a grant, on asliding scale for part or all <strong>of</strong> the increase in <strong>City</strong> taxes attributable to theimprovement <strong>of</strong> a building and/or redevelopment <strong>of</strong> a property located within theCentral Business District Renaissance Community Improvement Area.Building Permit Fee Grant Program— The <strong>City</strong> may provide a grant,equivalent to the amount <strong>of</strong> the Building Permit Fee for development within theCentral Business District Renaissance Community Improvement Area.Parkland Dedication Fee Grant Program—The <strong>City</strong> may provide a grant,equivalent to the amount <strong>of</strong> the Parkland Dedication Fee for residentialdevelopment within the Central Business District Renaissance CommunityImprovement Area.Upper Storey Conversion to Residential Loan Program—The <strong>City</strong> mayprovide an upper storey conversion to residential loan, to a specified maximum,for eligible works in buildings located within the Central Business DistrictRenaissance Community Improvement Area.Upgrade to Building Code Loan Program—The <strong>City</strong> may provide an upgradeto Building Code loan, to a specified maximum for eligible works to buildingslocated within the Central Business District Renaissance CommunityImprovement Area.Economic Development Programs374
