TIA Low Risk performance improved to 86.4% in April compared to81% in March.Performance against the 90% time on the stroke unit target improved in April.6<strong>1.</strong>8% of patients had 90% of their stay on a Stroke Unit compared to 44% inMarch. 21 patients failed the target for various reasons including poor prognosis,treatment required prior to transfer, patients awaiting discharge transferred off of theunit and bed capacity.54% of patients had a Direct Admission to the Stroke Unit within 4 Hours comparedto 43.9% in March.
