& Other Projects [NIB No. F5(776)/DoIT/Tech/13/I/10766/2013 dated 23-08-2013]<br />

inspect all the supplied items (up to 10% of each item type on a random sample basis)<br />

during the respective delivery to validate them in compliance with the work order.<br />

f) SI, after successful inspection of supplied items by DoIT&C, shall carry items from<br />

DoIT&C stores &install all the supplied items at designated project cell locations at his<br />

own cost. The SI shall install and configure the all the supplied licensed software on<br />

respective hardware. Also, the SI shall integrate all the parts / peripheral devices like<br />

power <strong>supply</strong>, SFP Modules, bar-code readers, etc. with respective items already<br />

installed at user’s place.<br />

g) The SI, wherever required & applicable, shall connect (if required) the supplied items to<br />

the existing SDC/RSDC/SecLAN-MAN/ NIC network such that the end-user is able to<br />

access the SDC/ NIC infrastructure/ services of SecLAN-MAN/ NIC Network.<br />

h) Upon successful <strong>installation</strong> of all the supplied Hardware/ Software, the SI shall submit<br />

<strong>installation</strong> reports (in original) duly verified by the respective nodal officer/ end-user<br />

where the Hardware/ Software has been installed by him.<br />

i) The SI, during <strong>installation</strong>, shall not cause any damage to government premises/<br />

property and upon successful <strong>installation</strong>, if tampered/ damaged, will per<strong>for</strong>m<br />

restoration of the site to its original state at his own cost. All the <strong>installation</strong> work shall<br />

be done by the SI in a conscientious manner and as per the OEM guidelines, best<br />

industry practices, and all regulatory norms, as applicable. It shall be the responsibility<br />

of the selected bidder to bring all the equipment and tools required <strong>for</strong> <strong>installation</strong> of the<br />

supplied items.<br />

2) Phase-II: Testing & Commissioning<br />

a) DoIT&C, upon receipt of all <strong>installation</strong> reports from the SI, shall validate the same as<br />

per work order/ bidding document <strong>for</strong> its compliance. SI shall assist DoIT&C during this<br />

process i.e. Acceptance Testing (AT) by DoIT&C.<br />

b) All the installed hardware/ software would be deemed to have been commissioned<br />

(wherever applicable <strong>for</strong> items) only after successful AT by DoIT&C i.e. acceptance of<br />

<strong>installation</strong> reports by DoIT&C. The date of successful AT shall be marked as the “Date<br />

of Commissioning” by DoIT&C.<br />

3) Phase-III: Support Services Phase<br />

Post-testing i.e. <strong>for</strong>m the “Date of Commissioning” of project, the Support Service shall<br />

commence <strong>for</strong> a period of 3 Years or as specified in relevant BoM / technical specifications<br />

<strong>for</strong> all hardware and Software products. During this period, the SI shall: -<br />

a) provide comprehensive onsite support services <strong>for</strong> the installed hardware and /or<br />

software at designated project locations. This involves comprehensive maintenance of<br />

all installed hardware and covered under the warranty as per ‘Warranty’ clause<br />

including repairing, replacement of faulty parts, modules, sub-modules, assemblies,<br />
