Chapter 11 – Troubleshooting<br />

1. Make sure “Remove all” checkbox has been selected in the un-install wizard<br />

2. Replace the <strong>with</strong> your JVM path in<br />

/bin/setenv script<br />

3. To change the port number for the server instance, open the configsubstitutions.properties<br />

file under /instancex/var/config/ and<br />

change the value of portOffset.<br />

• Install and uninstall log files are in directory<br />

- For windows platform, default is “systemDrive:/Documents<br />

- For non-windows platform, default is user ID's home<br />

directory<br />

• server.log is in /var/log<br />

• client.log is in /var/log<br />

• deployer.log is in /var/log<br />

• Web server log is in /var/catalina/logs<br />
