Once you receive the message "<strong>Server</strong> started", go back to the same Windows menu and<br />

choose Administrative Console. This will start the Administrative Console in your browser<br />

located at https://localhost:8443/console as shown in Figure 2.12<br />

To start the Community Edition server you can also go to the folder where you installed<br />

Community Edition (See Figure 2.7 above) and run start-server.bat.<br />

On Linux start the Community Edition server using start-server.sh. To start the admin<br />

console, simply open a browser and point it to https://localhost:8443/console<br />

To log in to the Administrative Console, the default user is system and the password is<br />

manager. When you click login, you should see the Administrative Console main window.<br />

We will discuss more about the Administrative Console later in this book.
