OBITUARY<br />
Remembering Arthur “Art” Salani, Jr.<br />
February 5, 1946 – October 29, 2015<br />
On October 29, 2015 Art landed on<br />
the Eternal fairway where every shot is<br />
a winner.<br />
Art was the cherished husband and<br />
best friend of Susan Salani and the<br />
loving father of Christopher Salani. Art<br />
will also be lovingly remembered by the<br />
Salani family, his business associates<br />
and many dear friends.<br />
Art was the President of Global<br />
Fastener & Supply Inc and GF&D,<br />
Grease Fitting Solutions.<br />
Over the years, Global Fastener &<br />
Supply has won numerous awards. The<br />
awards Art was most proud of were the<br />
Huffy Sports Partner of the Year award<br />
and two consecutive years in a row<br />
Lifetime Products named Global<br />
Supplier of the Year.<br />
Art served on the Board of Directors<br />
for the National Fastener Distributors<br />
Association from 1995 to 1998. His<br />
career was based on many good<br />
business principles; especially the one<br />
that treated employees with respect<br />
and concern. Art truly felt like they were<br />
family and they, in turn felt the same.
