Crescent Manufacturing is pleased to announce that<br />
it recently acquired the major assets including extensive<br />
machinery, a broad range of heading and threading<br />
tooling, and the customer list and files of Perfection<br />
Screw and Rivet. Perfection Screw and Rivet was founded<br />
in 1952 and produced thousands of different cold headed<br />
parts for a wide range of hundreds of customers.<br />
This acquisition expands Crescent Manufacturing’s<br />
tooling and manufacturing capability. Crescent will be<br />
able to manufacture smaller diameter parts in longer<br />
lengths. Crescent’s product range is from triple ought<br />
(000) to 3/8 inch in diameter and up to three inches long.<br />
All of this equipment, tooling, and customer files have<br />
been relocated from Perfection’s location in Wolcott,<br />
Connecticut to Crescent’s newly expanded facility in<br />
Burlington, Connecticut.<br />
