16. PENALTIES
REFUND FOR CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW
A. Not permitted.
B. Tickets may be upgraded to a higher applicable fare without forfeit. If the
higher fare ticket is subsequently cancelled, the original forfeit will apply.
VOLUNTARY REBOOKING AND REROUTING
A. Before Departure:
1. Before Deadline: Permitted (except to UK; permitted at a charge of
USD 100 for each transaction).
2. After Deadline:
a. Outbound portion of the pricing unit: Not permitted.
b. Inbound portion of the pricing unit: Permitted no later than the day
before the day of the flight being changed at a charge of USD
150 for each transaction.
B. After Departure: Permitted inbound no later than the day before the day of
the flight being changed at a charge of USD 150 for each transaction.
19. CHILDREN AND INFANT DISCOUNTS
A. Children: Charge 75%.
B. General Rule 6.2 applies (except children pay full cancellation/ rebooking/
rerouting charges).

5. RESERVATIONS AND TICKETING
RESERVATIONS
A. Deadline: 14 days (except from Finland and from Yugoslavia when used
for Senior Citizen fares: 7 days).
B. Must be made for the entire pricing unit.
TICKETING AND PAYMENT
A. Deadline: 14 days (except from Finland and from Yugoslavia when used
for Senior Citizen fares: 7 days).
B. Tickets must show reservations for the entire pricing unit.
6. MINIMUM STAY 7 days (except from Finland: 6 days) counting from the day
after departure on the outbound Transatlantic sector to the earliest day return
travel may commence from the last stopover point (including for this purpose
the point of turnaround).
7. MAXIMUM STAY 2 months (except from Finland/Iceland: One month/
Hungary: 3 Months).
9. TRANSFERS in each direction;
A. From Finland: 2 (one of which may be international).
B. To Puerto Rico/US Virgin Islands: One at the North American gateway, one
in Area 1, and one in Europe.
C. All other journeys: One at the North American gateway, one on-line in
North America, and one in Europe (from Bosnia and Herzegovina/Croatia/
Yugoslavia: one additional in Bosnia and Herzegovina/Croatia/Yugoslavia
respectively).
10. CONSTRUCTIONS AND COMBINATIONS
COMBINATIONS
A. End-on and side trip combinations permitted.
B. On a half RT basis with another North Atlantic APEX/PEX fare (except from
UK: On a half RT basis with another Transatlantic APEX/PEX fare). The
more restrictive conditions of either fare apply to the entire pricing unit.

16. PENALTIES
REFUND FOR CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW
A. From Hungary/ Romania/ UK/ Yugoslavia:
1. Before Departure:
a. Before Deadline: Cancellation/No Show Forfeit: 50%.
b. After Deadline: No refund (except from Hungary/ Romania: Full
refund in cases of certified death/illness of the
passenger/immediate family member).
2. After Departure: No refund.
B. All other journeys:
1. No refund.
EXCEPTIONS:
1. Full refund in cases of certified death of the passenger/immediate
family member.
2. From Bosnia and Herzegovina/Croatia/Macedonia (FYROM)/
Slovenia/ Yugoslavia: Full refund in cases of refusal of
passenger's/accompanying immediate family member’s travel
documents as evidenced by written advice from government
authorities.
2. From UK: Tickets may be upgraded to a higher applicable fare
without forfeit. If the higher fare ticket is subsequently cancelled, the
original forfeit will apply.

1. Before Departure: Not permitted.
2. After Departure: Permitted inbound no later then the day before the
day of the flight being changed at a charge of HUF 22000/USD 150
for each transaction.
B. From UK:
1. Before Departure:
a. Before Deadline: Permitted at a charge of GBP 100 for each
transaction.
b. After Deadline:
(1) Outbound portion of the pricing unit: Not permitted.
(2) inbound portion of the pricing unit: Permitted no later than
the day before the day of the flight being changed at a
charge of GBP100 for each transaction.
2. After Departure; Permitted inbound no later than the day before the
day of the flight being changed at a charge of GBP 100 for each
