TINK - sketching product experiences of connected objects
Tink is the result of my graduation project from the master in design for interaction at TUDelft. Tink is a web platform that connects products with one another via the Internet, it provides designers with a complete Internet of Things (IOT) development environment. Designers are provided with a rich stack of features to sketch, prototype and test IOT projects. Tink is a user-friendly, visual, collaborative, open-source tool for designers to build connected interactions among objects.

Graduation Assignment - 9
CHAPTER 1
Graduation assignment
In this chapter the boundaries of the project and the graduation
assignment are presented.
1. SKETCHING is considered the main activity designers are engaged
with 1 ; I’ll explain how this practice goes beyond drawing with markers
on paper, and what are the characteristics of it.
2. I’ll then analyse TOOLS, and the role they play for designers.
3. I’ll then discuss the broad topic of the INTERNET OF THINGS 2
(IoT). I’ll propose several definitions from literature in order to define
the domain and the boundary of the project. At the end of the chapter,
a working definition for “Connected Objects“ is introduced.
