Datuk Badlisham Ghazali awarded for
outstanding calibre in airport management
The award for Leadership Excellence in Airport Management
was recently bagged by none other Badlisham on the recent
7th Middle East Business Leadership Awards.
The award is a testament to his leadership and drive in
ensuring the sustainable growth of Malaysia Airports' business
through the implementation of initiatives such as establishing
KL International Airport as a preferred ASEAN hub, enhancing
total airport experience, developing KLIA Aeropolis and
strengthening its international presence.
Badlisham said, "This award is a recognition for the collective
effort from all our employees who strive to make our
company’s mission and vision a reality every single day."
The event was also attended by UK Parliament Member,
Stephen Timms, High Commissioner of Malaysia to United
Kingdom & Northern Ireland, Dato' Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi,

The Chinese New Year celebrations were in full swing at the
Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang as the mall threw a sale of
up to 90 percent between January 6 and February 12.
A plethora of activities and performances were also hosted
in lieu of the Rooster year. MFMA Development Sdn Bhd
(MFMA Development) Deputy Managing Director, TJ Cheah
said, "Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang houses an exciting
range of international and local brands. Shopping can be
quite an exuberating experience at the outlet mall. The fun
also includes the festive activities that are sure to bring cheer
to patrons, locals and tourists alike."
Amongst the participating brands are Outlet by Club 21,
Braun Buffel, Bally, Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Aigner, DVF,
Brooks Brothers, Hackett London, Sacoor Outlet, Porsche
Design, Lacoste, Bonia, Sembonia, Hush Puppies, Swarovski,
Noritake, Obermain, Akemi Uchi, Pierre Cardin, Geox, Esprit,
Pepe Jeans, Ace, Leather Avenue, Quiksilver, Isetan Outlet
Store and Chocolate Street.
There were several activities held between January 6 and
February 5. These included shoppers redeeming a set of
Limited Edition Red Packets in exclusive designs with a
minimum spend of RM100 in a single receipt on the same
day, God of Prosperity appearances, Lion Dance and Festive
Drums performances, both held at Sunshine Square.
Additionally, during the sales period between January 6 and
February 12, patrons enjoyed two hours of free parking on
weekdays (excluding public holidays) with a minimum spend
of RM30 in a single receipt on the same day at participating
F&B outlets within the outlet mall.
