Account Setup<br />

Normally your device will be set up on your <strong>Sprint</strong> account at the time of purchase.<br />

To verify that your device is set up on your <strong>Sprint</strong> account:<br />

1. Log in to your account at www.sprint.com by entering your <strong>user</strong>name and password.<br />

2. Confirm that the <strong>Overdrive</strong> <strong>Pro</strong> <strong>3G</strong>/<strong>4G</strong> <strong>Mobile</strong> <strong>Hotspot</strong> is on your account with a <strong>Mobile</strong><br />

Broadband connection plan.<br />

If you don’t see your device listed, you will need to contact <strong>Sprint</strong> Customer Service to complete<br />

setting up the device on your account. (See “Contacting Customer Service” on page 118.) Have the<br />

following available before calling:<br />

● Your <strong>Sprint</strong> account information.<br />

● The ESN number of your device (displayed on the packaging and inside the battery compartment).<br />

Device Setup<br />

1. Install the battery, as described in “Installing the Battery” on page 10.<br />

2. Connect the device to the AC charger, as described in “Using the AC Charger with Your Device’s<br />

micro-USB Port” on page 12.<br />

3. Plug the AC charger into an electrical outlet.<br />

4. Important: Charge the device until the battery icon is full ( ).<br />

Connecting to the Network<br />

1. Make sure you are in a <strong>Sprint</strong> <strong>3G</strong> or <strong>4G</strong> coverage area (not roaming).<br />

2. If you have a LAN connection, disconnect it.<br />

3. Make sure your computer’s Wi-Fi is turned on.<br />
