The auditor’s focus should be to understand the process and the pers<strong>on</strong>’s role in that process. Once the focus shifts from the process to the<br />
checklist, the c<strong>on</strong>versati<strong>on</strong> and the informati<strong>on</strong> the auditor needs in order to verify effectiveness will lag.<br />
