To ensure the efficient use of time during the audit performance stage, the audit team should<br />
arrive promptly at the audit site at the agreed-up<strong>on</strong> time for the opening meeting. The lead<br />
auditor should retain c<strong>on</strong>trol of the opening meeting and should not allow the auditee or another<br />
auditor (senior or principle) to take c<strong>on</strong>trol.<br />
A recently promoted senior auditor being part of audit team as assigned auditor was taking over<br />
the lead auditor’s presentati<strong>on</strong> during entry meeting. This may give the auditee organizati<strong>on</strong><br />
