to <strong>the</strong> four kids by kneeling and lowering <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

heads to <strong>the</strong> floor.<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>The</str<strong>on</strong>g> hotel manager said, “We have brought<br />

gifts to <strong>the</strong> treasure-hunting children.”<br />

He presented a large silver tray filled with<br />

sweets and fruit. From his pocket he pulled a<br />

special item and handed it to Grant. It was a<br />

fortune cookie.<br />

Grant slapped his forehead. “Aw, man,”<br />

he said. “I d<strong>on</strong>’t think I can take any more good<br />

luck just yet, please!?”
