out <strong>of</strong> time before we get to try to find <strong>the</strong><br />
treasure and solve this mystery, aren’t you?”<br />
Christina sighed. “Yeah, I am. I know<br />
how carried away Mimi and Papa can get. <str<strong>on</strong>g>The</str<strong>on</strong>g>y<br />
might just say, ‘Oh, we’ll see it next time.’”<br />
“Surely not,” said Grant, “not something<br />

“Well, what did <strong>the</strong> real message say?”<br />
asked Christina impatiently.<br />
“I said I couldn’t read it,” grumbled Grant.<br />
Christina didn’t understand. “Grant, you<br />
can read!”<br />
Grant pulled <strong>the</strong> paper from his pocket<br />
and shoved it under his sister’s face. “Well, I<br />
can’t read THIS!”<br />
“Oh,” said Christina dejectedly.<br />
Grant looked around <strong>the</strong> deck. “Do you<br />
think <strong>the</strong> man followed us this time?”
