Entry requirements<br />
• You do not need any qualifications.<br />
• We will do an assessment to find out which<br />
course level is right for you.<br />
• A positive attitude, a willingness to try new things<br />
and enthusiasm for learning are important.<br />
• You will also come to an introductory ‘taster’<br />
session before the course starts, to see if it is the<br />
right course for you.<br />
About the course<br />
This course helps you to become more independent<br />
and confident with other people. You can choose<br />
topics like gardening, cooking, art and sport. You also<br />
improve your maths, reading, writing and IT skills.<br />
You find out about different types of jobs, go on trips<br />
and take part in fundraising activities.<br />
Your future<br />
After you have finished this course, you may progress<br />
on to other Foundation Learning programmes or in to<br />
employment.<br />
