Entry requirements<br />
• An apprenticeship vacancy in your chosen area.<br />
• These will be set by the employer, but typically<br />
include 2 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including<br />
English and maths.<br />
• You will have an interview.<br />
• You must pass an initial assessment in English<br />
& maths.<br />
About the course<br />
As an Apprentice Administrator, you will handle<br />
day-to-day tasks in an office and make sure<br />
an organisation runs smoothly. During this<br />
apprenticeship, you will develop a range of<br />
transferable skills which means you can work in<br />
almost any setting, from an international retail<br />
chain to a small manufacturing company. Positions<br />
may include executive assistants, secretaries,<br />
administration assistants, data entry clerks and<br />
office juniors. Administration roles are an excellent<br />
starting point for a career in business and you can<br />
even move in to management, once you have more<br />
experience.<br />
Your future<br />
After completing an Intermediate Apprenticeship,<br />
you can progress on to the Business Administrator<br />
Level 3 Apprenticeship or full-<strong>time</strong> study at college.<br />
Alternatively, you can use the skills and experience<br />
you have gained to progress further in your career.<br />

About the course<br />
As a Business Administrator, you will develop a highly<br />
transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours<br />
that can be applied in all sectors. This includes<br />
small and large businesses alike; from the public,<br />
private and charitable sectors. The role may involve<br />
working independently or as part of a team and<br />
will involve developing, implementing, maintaining<br />
and improving administrative services. This will<br />
support your progression towards management<br />
responsibilities.<br />
As part of this apprenticeship, you will need to<br />
pass an End Point Assessment at the end of your<br />
apprenticeship to show that you are competent in<br />
your role.<br />
Your future<br />
After completing this apprenticeship, you could<br />
progress on to a Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship<br />
or study a course at college or university. You could<br />
also develop your professional skills further with one<br />
of our part-<strong>time</strong> courses.<br />
