Balancing software
Balancing software
Highlights:
7 The BALCON balancing software supports the operation of
fully automatic balancing systems within the control.
7 All relevant settings, such as tolerance, speed and alarm
limits, can be adjusted using the control.
7 The balancing process can be carried out fully-automatically
or semi-automatically (to permit adjustments as necessary).
7 The control of All MPM balancing equipment (flange mounting,
spindle mounting and special equipment) can be optimized
using the BALCON balancing software and the AB100
balancing modules.
HMI software for CNC controls
SINUMERIK Solution Partners
Nordmann GmbH & Co. KG
Tool monitoring
■ Overview
PROFIBUS-capable, highly-sensitive tool monitoring using
SEM-PROFIBUS
The SinTerm software supports efficient tool monitoring in series
production. In addition to the 8-channel sensor-free active power
or torque measurement via the PROFIBUS, this solution integrated
in the control also permits connection of up to 8 further
sensors from the Nordmann range, permitting monitoring of the
complete range of tools.
The following additional measuring systems are available:
• Force sensors, also as expansion sensors for particularly easy
mounting
• Structure-borne noise sensors (with contact or contact-free,
various patents for connection to moving tools or workpieces,
e.g., via a coolant jet as sound wave guide)
• Active power meters for analog drives without PROFIBUS
capability
• Buttons for checking workpiece lengths in automatic multispindle
lathes
• Audible dimensional checking of workpieces using a test tool
in CNC turning machines
• Optical laser sensors for direct checking of workpiece length
or workpiece surface
• Sensors directly on the tool insert for exact determination of
wear and breakage even when manufacturing single parts
The measured values adapted in real-time to the monitoring task
are displayed on the operator panel and evaluated using envelope
curves, dynamic or static limits for tool wear, breakage,
workpiece contact, or workpiece dimension.
