LENGTH INTAKE CREDENTIAL LOCATION
1 year/3 semesters Fall, Winter Ontario College Graduate Certificate Morningside
If you are a practical nurse (RPN) looking to obtain a nursing degree but need the option for a fall or
winter intake, this program is for you. The curriculum is based on the College of Nurses of Ontario
(CNO) Standards of Practice for Nursing and Entry-to-Practice Competencies for Ontario Registered
Nurses. It covers ethics and professional practice, health assessment, skills mastery, and caring for
clients with acute and chronic illness. The program also focuses on caring for individuals, groups, and
communities in various settings. By applying theoretical knowledge in a nursing lab and real-world
clinical environments, you become ready to lead in your field. Each intake runs three consecutive
semesters (the fall intake does not run during the summer).
Notes:
2. When you graduate, you may apply to a post-diploma PN to BScN program (e.g., at Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly
Ryerson University). Graduation from the Bridging Certificate at Centennial College does not provide a guaranteed admission
to university. Graduates are encouraged to review appropriate admission requirements to university and to know that
applications remain competitive. Please check the University website for current admission requirements: torontomu.ca/
programs/undergraduate/nursing-post-diploma/.
3. The clinical placements will be offered within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). By applying to the program, you agree to have
clinical placement in the GTA.
