If you enjoy hands-on work and have a mechanical aptitude, a career in industrial mechanical
engineering technology combines your interests as you manufacture and produce mechanical
equipment and products. Qualified post-secondary graduates may enter directly into Year 2
(Semester 3) of this three-year program. In just four semesters, become familiar with specialized
subjects relating to modern manufacturing and production processes. Courses also focus on
computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing using industry standard software.
Through projects that simulate real-world workplace assignments, you design, build, and test an
original piece of equipment. Your training allows you to make an immediate impact and go further
faster.
