Design, develop, modify, <strong>and</strong> test the next generation of medical software products as a skilled<br />
health informatics professional with training from this program. You may be eligible to enter<br />
directly into Semester 3 to receive your advanced diploma in only four semesters. Coursework<br />
includes object-oriented software design methodologies, user-oriented interface design, health<br />
care information system structures <strong>and</strong> privacy issues, telehealth, <strong>and</strong> data security. It also<br />
focuses on technologies such as programming languages, database management systems, web<br />
frameworks, data warehousing <strong>and</strong> data mining, <strong>and</strong> business intelligence tools. During two software<br />
development projects, put your newly acquired skills into action — <strong>and</strong> benefit from gaining additional<br />
leadership skills that take your career to the next level.<br />
