WITH INTENTION<br />
In <strong>2023</strong>, learn, gather, <strong>and</strong> gain knowledge of Indigenous ways in our new<br />
Progress Campus gateway structure. An expansion of the campus, it will<br />
be Canada’s first zero-carbon, mass timber higher education building. The<br />
addition is on track to receive WELL Building St<strong>and</strong>ard®, Leadership in<br />
Energy <strong>and</strong> Environmental Design (LEED®), <strong>and</strong> Zero Carbon certifications.<br />
Simultaneously, the building will embody our commitment to Truth <strong>and</strong><br />
Reconciliation. It will include spaces conducive to Indigenous teaching <strong>and</strong><br />
learning models; areas for gathering with citizens of Indigenous Nations<br />
<strong>and</strong> Indigenous community members; <strong>and</strong> places for smudging.<br />
