One year in this <strong>Fast</strong>-track pathway can turn your interest in making things run better, faster,<br />
<strong>and</strong> easier into a career in automated systems, which are at the heart of virtually all advanced<br />
manufacturing sectors across a variety of industries. As a qualified engineering <strong>and</strong> science postsecondary<br />
graduate, enter Year 2 (Semester 3) of the two-year program to receive your diploma in<br />
only two semesters. Courses are comprehensive, emphasizing basic technology used in building<br />
<strong>and</strong> operating automated industrial systems. This includes programmable logic controllers (PLCs),<br />
hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, <strong>and</strong> robotics. In addition to theory, you benefit from practical,<br />
h<strong>and</strong>s-on laboratory experience — which equips you with knowledge well rounded enough to ensure<br />
you are comfortable in a leadership role<br />
