approach to human sexuality?" Is violence "demanded by the
story" and "presented as a desirable way to solve problems and resolve
conflict?" Are women portrayed as "possessing the same intrinsic dignity
as their male counterparts . . . ?" He was applauded by the president of
the Writers Guild of America West, the senior vice president of Atlantic
Records (who was also chair of the Southern California ACLU), the vice
president of the Directors Guild of America, and the president of the
