Council Membership<br />
The members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Challenger</strong> <strong>TAFE</strong> Governing Council who served during <strong>2006</strong> are listed below.<br />

Ms Paddi Creevey (Chair) is the Mayor <strong>of</strong> the City <strong>of</strong> Mandurah. She has been involved in local government for more than ten<br />
years and chaired the City’s Planning and Development Committee for six years. She has strong interests in sustainability and<br />
community development, particularly in the Peel region. She retired from a senior social worker role at the Mandurah Community<br />
Health Centre in mid-2005. Her qualifi cations include a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Social Work. Paddi serves on the boards <strong>of</strong> a number <strong>of</strong><br />
community organisations such as the Women’s Refuge, Peel Community Legal Centre, Peel Community Development Group<br />
and WestAus Crisis. She has been appointed to the Peel Development Commission, the Local Government Advisory Board, and<br />
the Ministerial Advisory Committee for Women in Local Government and is a State Councillor <strong>of</strong> the WA Local Government<br />
Association. Paddi is also a member <strong>of</strong> Zonta International and the Mandurah Fishing Club.<br />
