of Edna, Texas, as a memorial to the Reverend Josephus Johnson, D.D., and to himself.<br />
The Arkansas Chair of Greek, established in 1923 by the Synod of Arkansas. (A part of this was given by<br />
Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Leidy as “The John Wesley Knepper Memorial.”)<br />
The Sarah C. Ball Chairs of Systematic Theology and Old Testament Languages and Exegesis, established<br />
in 1902 by Mrs. Sarah C. Ball of Galveston, Texas.<br />

of Houston, Texas, to honor Mr. and Mrs. Ara Carapetyan of Houston, Texas.<br />
The Mr. George H. Cummings Memorial Faculty Endowment, established in 1997 through a bequest in<br />
the will of Mr. George H. Cummings of <strong>Austin</strong>, Texas.<br />
The Dr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Currie Jr. Faculty Endowment, established in 1980 by members of Oak<br />
Cliff <strong>Presbyterian</strong> Church, Dallas, Texas.<br />
The Thomas White Currie Jr. Chair of American Church History, endowed in 2007. The fund was fi rst<br />
established by the <strong>Presbyterian</strong> Historical Society of the Southwest and its funding completed through<br />
gifts from numerous family members and friends honoring the memory of The Reverend Dr. Thomas<br />
White Currie, Jr., who served <strong>Presbyterian</strong> congregations in Texas from 1941 until his death in 2005<br />
and who wrote the 75th anniversary history of <strong>Austin</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong>.<br />
The Robert J. Drueding Memorial Faculty Endowment Fund, established in 1978 by Mrs. Robert J.<br />
