Although most Spanish films are very pers<strong>on</strong>al and intimate—many directors also<br />

act as screenwriters—they also seek to please mass audiences This workshop<br />

will include an overview <strong>of</strong> Spanish cinema topics and genres through the last<br />

decades, with special attenti<strong>on</strong> to Pedro Almodóvar, and attendants will be<br />

provided with a great variety <strong>of</strong> practical activities and interesting recipes for<br />

Participants analyze a struggling student and learn strategies to help that student<br />

<strong>The</strong> workshop will define learning disabilities, review research, and explain a<br />

pedagogical approach for at-risk students<br />
