This was the work of its Major,João de Dijon.The cultural treasures hidden in this small village are endless— including 14 churches and chapels — and among these,the Church of St. Mary, covered by the typical glazed tilesand pictures painted by Josefa de Ayalla y Cabrera (Josefade Óbidos).Its surroundings are also full of interesting spots, like theaqueduct ordered by D.
