During this meeting there were also presented
reports on implementation of informational system
of the Court of Accounts:
Automated informational system: ” Electronic
documents circulation system of the Court of
Accounts”;
Integrated solution of informational technologies
and communication for the Court of
Accounts .
Mrs Ecaterina Paknehad, member of the Court
of Accounts and coordinator of implementing the
cooperation project between the CoA and SNAO,
has presented a report on results achieved in 2010
in terms of institutional cooperation between the
Court of Accounts and Swedish National Audit Office
.
Mrs Nina Lupan, Director of State Treasury presented
her report on progresses registered in implementing
Public Finance Management Project
in 2010 and future perspectives, but Mr Ion Sîrbu,
Hear of Direction for harmonization internal public
financial control system at the Ministry of Finance
informed participants to the meeting about evolutions
in implementing internal public finance control
during 2010 .
In conclusion, President of the Court of Accounts,
Mrs . Ala Popescu, said that the Court of
Accounts consistently made commitments to
promote greater accountability from leaders who
manage public funds and support government
authorities in better management of allocated or
provided resources .
In this context, Mrs . Ala Popescu reiterated that
the Court of Accounts will continue its transformation
and development to become both de jure and
de facto a pillar of public accountability and contribute
to a better parliamentary oversight and development
of Government control system, as well
as efficient implementation of budgets and public
policies .
