of the Court of Accounts:<br />
Automated informational system: ” Electronic<br />
documents circulation system of the Court of<br />
Accounts”;<br />
Integrated solution of informational technologies<br />
and communication for the Court of<br />
Accounts .<br />
Mrs Ecaterina Paknehad, member of the Court<br />
of Accounts and coordinator of implementing the<br />
cooperation project between the CoA and SNAO,<br />
has presented a report on results achieved in <strong>2010</strong><br />
in terms of institutional cooperation between the<br />
Court of Accounts and Swedish National Audit Office<br />
.<br />
Mrs Nina Lupan, Director of State Treasury presented<br />
her report on progresses registered in implementing<br />
Public Finance Management Project<br />
in <strong>2010</strong> and future perspectives, but Mr Ion Sîrbu,<br />
Hear of Direction for harmonization internal public<br />
financial control system at the Ministry of Finance<br />
informed participants to the meeting about evolutions<br />
in implementing internal public finance control<br />
during <strong>2010</strong> .<br />
In conclusion, Presi<strong>de</strong>nt of the Court of Accounts,<br />
Mrs . Ala Popescu, said that the Court of<br />
Accounts consistently ma<strong>de</strong> commitments to<br />
promote greater accountability from lea<strong>de</strong>rs who<br />
manage public funds and support government<br />
authorities in better management of allocated or<br />
provi<strong>de</strong>d resources .<br />
In this context, Mrs . Ala Popescu reiterated that<br />
the Court of Accounts will continue its transformation<br />
and <strong>de</strong>velopment to become both <strong>de</strong> jure and<br />
<strong>de</strong> facto a pillar of public accountability and contribute<br />
to a better parliamentary oversight and <strong>de</strong>velopment<br />
of Government control system, as well<br />
as efficient implementation of budgets and public<br />
policies .<br />
