When no title is in the chief source and two or more sources disagree on the title, either in content or in
language, and none can be credited with representing the creator’s intent, choose the title from the most
authoritative source and transcribe it in square brackets. If appropriate, give one or more of the variant titles
in a note if those variant titles are likely to be sought by a catalog user. (…)
Betz 1B1.10. Abbreviated title
In case of a severely abbreviated title, in which it would be cumbersome to bracket interpolated letters and
words, spell out the title and enclose it in square brackets. If desirable, record the abbreviated title in a note.
Betz 1B1.13. Title on another copy, etc.
When a title is known to exist on another copy, edition, or different state of the item, transcribe the title from
that source, enclosing it in square brackets. Make a note of the source.
KRS 8.1C1. Valfritt tillägg. Allmän medieterm
Tillämplig allmän medieterm placeras omedelbart efter huvudtiteln enligt anvisningarna i 1.1C.
PARALLELLTITEL
KRS 1.1B8. Om det i primärkällan förekommer titlar på två eller flera språk eller skriftarter, återges som
huvudtitel den som är på samma språk som huvuddelen av objektets skrivna, talade eller sjungna innehåll.
Om detta kriterium ej är tillämpligt, väljs huvudtiteln med utgångspunkt i titlarnas ordningsföljd i primärkällan
eller i dennas layout. Återge övriga titlar som parallelltitlar
(se 1.1D)
Betz 1.E. Record all parallel titles appearing in the source of information. Transcribe parallel titles in the
order indicated by their sequence on, or by the layout of, the source of information. Capitalize the first word
of each parallel title.
When the order or layout appears to be entirely random, record the parallel titles in sequence reading from
top to bottom and from left to right, where appropriate.
ÖVRIG TITELINFORMATION
KRS 1.1E1. Återge all övrig titelinformation som förekommer i primärkällan enligt anvisningarna i 1.1B
KRS 1.1E5. Återge övrig titelinformation efter den huvudtitel eller den del av huvudtiteln till vilken den
hänför sig. Om parallelltitlar saknas men övrig titelinformation förekommer på mer än ett språk eller i mer
än en skriftart, anges den övriga titelinformation som är på huvudtitelns språk eller i dess skriftart. Om detta
kriterium ej är tillämpligt, anges den övriga titelinformation som förekommer först. Om så önskas, kan
övrig titelinformation på andra språk anges.
