Mobilya Design Team has unveiled all the innovations
we will see in our living spaces in 2020, from general
furniture design to materials used in furniture and
from fabrics to colors.
Living spaces are shaped with original designs…
The design team said that in recent years people
want the furniture used to furnish their homes to be
custom-made, adding they produce original designed
products in this regard. The team also noted that furniture
combined with more metal, natural wood and /
or marble will mark 2020, and that cream, gray, dark
blue and sage green, as well as brown, will be at the
forefront in color preference, while the use of brass
and chrome instead of rosa and copper will come
forward in details.
Natural as well as geometric designs will mark
2020
Kilim Mobilya Design Team pointed out that the decorative
objects that will complement the colors that
will unveil the natural state of wood with with fine and
soft colors will be seen more in the houses, adding
that softer transitions will be observed in the group
called panel furniture such as bedroom, children’s
room, dining room, while designs that dominate geometric
details will be frequently encountered.
The design team explained that in this group, besides
soft colors, green and matt black will come to the
fore. Meanwhile, oval edges and angled corners will
be seen as cutting lines that increase the movement
in furniture.
Accessories are very important for detailing
In the soft group, which is defined as sitting set,
corner set and armchair groups, products that can
become high-legged beds that have gained momentum
in 2019 will also manifest themselves in 2020.
The trend of wipeable and dirt-repellent fabric will
continue. While knitted fabrics and velvet fabrics are
used in furniture coverings, coffee tables, chandeliers
and lamps in complementary products will
continue to be at the forefront with their decorative
uses. In the selection of carpets dark but plain tones
will stand out.
Unlike 2019, colors are more pastel...
The design team underlined that pastel tones will
prevail in colors in contrast to 2019, adding coffee
creams, as well as gray, dark blue and sage green,
will come to the fore in details, while metal, brass
and chrome details will complement the furniture.
The team further stressed that pastel colors and larger
figures and patterns will dominate the cushions.
