Kitchens will be smart

with Tresette

Tresland Mutfak, A plus kitchen brand of

Aslandağ Group, accelerated its R & D

efforts to produce smart kitchens.

Tresette Mutfak, which is produced by Aslandağ Group in

the ready-made kitchen sector, is preferred by the consumers

in luxury projects in various places in the world.

Recently, the brand’s new goal is to accelerate its efforts to

carry technology to kitchens; “Smart Kitchen”. Stating that

they started R & D studies on this issue, Aslandağ Group

Chairman Cemal Aslandağ gave the good news that the

kitchens could be controlled by voice command system in

the following years.

First of all, what would you like to say about the latest

trends in the kitchen?

Following Artella, we also serve our customers with the

Tresette kitchen group. In this sense, we can say we are

one of the top three brands in Turkey. The kitchen adds nice

values to us as a group and brand we love very much. We

come from the core of this business and we started this

business with workshop. We used to make kitchen in the

early days. Then we went to the door and the same turnover

in our two brands. But as I said the kitchen was more enjoyable

for us. The kitchens have changed from being a place

where food is used to being an active area to living. As a

result of this, the technology has reached a better point in

the communication age, the contraction in the construction

sector and the design of the houses in a more minimal way

have changed the habits of consumers. Our products are

now called kitchen furniture, not kitchen cabinet. People

cook and eat here, wash their dishes and use it as a storage

area. Since all of these are gathered in one area, the name

of this place should be not a kitchen, but a place where

we can spend time. We are working in this direction. For

these, we meet customers with special colors and designs.

We design and offer an area to the customer according to

people’s personal lifestyle, culture and average age. That’s

what makes us different.

Which points do you touch in the eight kitchens with the

shrinkage of square meters and the kitchens are now a

habitable area?

First of all, it is necessary to open very narrow spaces in

the most comfortable way. First you make a design and

besides, there are completely built-in products and devices.

We also need to make the inside of the cabinets fully

usable. For example, special drawers coming out from the

bottom of kitchens, bottles, spices. Our customers want

to use even the most remote points in their kitchen. As a

brand against them, we touch the points such as bottles,

baskets, lighting details in the products. Previously, when

customers looked at kitchen furniture, they would pull the

drawer and see if there was a braking system. They don’t

look at it anymore. It is because it has become a standard

and needs to be already. Is there a different or useful lighting

system? What are the different features of the built-in

countertop? That’s what they’re interested in. Otherwise,

dishwashers are normally placed under the counter. We

place the dishwashers under the counter but at the waist

level. Our customers are provided ease of use without any

difficulty without bending.

Do you have new products for 2020 or later?

In kitchens, we have serious studies about accessories. To

illustrate, we used button covers and inventories for lighting.

Now, touch-sensitive cabinet doors with sensors have

become more preferred. The products we plan to make

in the coming period will work with voice commands. This

is our dream. Our R & D activities are continuing. When

you enter the kitchen, you issue a command to the intelligent

system. When you want to buy rice, it’s almost there.

These will be the products we will offer to our customers

in the future.

Kitchens are changing according to cultures. What do your

customers abroad demand from you?

According to people’s lifestyle, everyone has a culinary

dream. For example, we sell kitchen to America. Everything

of them is extensive. They usually choose the island

kitchen style, with the stations in the middle of the kitchen.

Since there are large areas in square meters, it is easier to

make them. But the walls are asked edge of the island due

to the small apartment kitchen Turkey. Europe is between

these two. Both island and U kitchens are preferred. These

vary depending on the condition of the apartment and the

housing. The kitchens we built in San Francisco are living

spaces combined with a 60 square meter lounge.
