Merhaba 2020, Hallo Deutschland!
Yine geldik bir yılbaşı sayısına ve yine geldik dolu dolu Almanya fuarlarına. Her sene olduğu gibi
Heimtextile ve Domotex ile başlayan serüvenimizde 2020 yılı etabı ile karşınızdayız. Sektör ocak
ayı için çok umutlu. Bizlerde öyle… tüm üreticilerimiz adına güzel bir fuarlar ayı olmasını diliyor,
yeni yılın başta ülkemiz olmak üzere hem ekonomimize hem de diğer çalışmalarımız adına hayırlı
bir yıl olmasını gönülden diliyorum.

Batı Anadolu’nun hazineleri…
Bildiğiniz gibi 2 yıl önce yola çıktığımız Türkiye halı haritası serüvenine ara vermeden her sayı
devam ediyoruz. Her ne kadar herhangi bir yöremize ait bir halıyı, sadece bir sayı ile anlatamasakta,
bu derdimiz devam edecek. Genel hatlarıyla ve bilinen özellikleri ile bu halılarımızı anlatarak,
elimizden geldiğince sizlere ve dünyanın dört bir yanında katıldığımız fuarlardaki ziyaretçilere
Türk’ün el hazinesi olan halılarımızı anlatmayı kendimize görev edindik. Bu sayımızda ise Milas’a
yolculuğumuz. Türk halısı denince akla gelen nadide eserlerden olan bu halıyla alakalı yazımızı
keyifle okumanızı diliyorum.
Hello 2020, Hallo Deutschland!
We have come again to a new issue of New Year and to the feast of Germany fairs. As we do every
year with our special Heimtextil and Domotex editions we are ready for our 2020 adventure in
these fairs. The sector is very hopeful for January. We wish it becomes a good month of fairs for
all of our manufacturers and I wish a happy New Year for our economy, especially for our country
and our other activities.
The treasures of Western Anatolia…
Two years ago, we set out a series of special editions aiming to produce a map of Turkey’s carpets.
Each issue is another step for this adventure. Although we cannot cover fully a carpet belonging to
each region in one issue, we will keep going this series. We have made it our mission to introduce
and tell about the rich treasure of Turkish handmade carpets in all the fairs we participated all
over the world. In this issue, our journey focused on carpets made in Milas. I wish you to read our
article about this charming carpet which is one of the rare works that comes to mind whenever
Turkish carpets is mentioned.
