A team of skilled and experienced engineers continuallydevelop and improve the heatsetting equipment.Power‐Heat‐Set’s R&D department in Töging focuseson bringing advantages to their customers and arealways striving to improve such aspects as quality,runability,productivity, energy saving and handling.Power‐Heat‐Set’s machine portfolio currently offerstwo different machine types, namely GVA and HiPer-Set and each are available in three different sizes.The GVA offers the best flexibility and high performancefor heatsetting carpet yarn with up to 96 ends.Due to its 6 channel configuration heatsetting of smalllots on different belts, it is even possible to run differentcolors of the same yarn or straight set and friezeat the same time. The HiPerSet uses only one channelto heatset the yarn with overheated steam. Up to 84ends can be processed at the same time.Both systems, the GVA and the HiPerSet, are heatsettingwith overheated steam under atmosphericpressure. With the removal of obstructions to airflow,a high volume of climate circulation is achievedwith relatively high compression allowing yarn to beheated quickly and thoroughly to the required heatsettemperature. This improved flow allows shorter dwelltimes.The machines are very economical due to their lowenergy costs. Despite their low energy costs whichmakes the machines very economical to run, the processabilitystill remains high and the yarn treated stillprovides a very high carpet quality.The company Power‐Heat‐Set GmbH is based inTöging am Inn near Munich, Germany. The companyhas been supplying the carpet industry with machinesand components for carpet yarn treatment forover 40 years.All of Power‐Heat‐Set’s equipment is manufacturedby highly‐qualified technicians at the Germanbased headquarters in Töging. There is a team ofmechanics and technicians available worldwide forinstallations and service.
