olezni, sindrom utrujenosti.Tematsko posodabljanje predavanj zahtevadodatek ali razširitev poglavij s spoznanji ovse bolj aktualnih infektih (okužbe priimunsko oslabljenih osebah,transplantirancih, nosilcih umetnihmaterialov, bolnišnične okužbe, okužbe vtropskih razmerah oz. na potovanjih,bioterorizem).Infektologija za odrasle bolnikeŠtudent mora spoznati in obvladatidiagnostični in terapevtski pristop pri bolnikus sumom na infekcijsko bolezen oziroma privročičnem bolniku, spoznati mora značilnostiokužb glede na prizadeti organski sistem (npr.okužb osrednjega živčevja, dihal, prebavil,sečil, spolovil, mišic, kosti in sklepov, kože inpodkožja), značilnosti nekaterih boleznioziroma bolezenskih stanj (npr. virusnihepatitis, AIDS, lymska borelioza, infekcijskiendokarditis, sepsa, septični šok, pogostejšetropske bolezni), značilnosti okužb pribolnikih z ohranjeno ali okvarjeno imunostjoin/ali vgrajenimi umetnimi materiali, ukrepeza preprečevanje nalezljivih bolezni,doktrino racionalne uporabe antibiotikov,protivirusnih, protiglivičnih in protiparazitnihzdravil, kakor tudi pristope za odkrivanje,dokazovanje, zdravljenje in preprečevanjebolnišničnih okužb.Pediatrična infektologijaSpecializant spozna značilnosti in osvojiznanje o etiologiji, epidemiologiji, kliničnihsimptomih in znakih, zdravljenju inpreprečevanju okužb pri otrocih v različnihstarostnih obdobjih. They becomeproficient in the interpretation of the findingsof laboratory tests, particularly the ones thatdiffer from those in adult patients.Intensive and emergency infectologyResidents become acquainted with theidentification, diagnosis and treatment ofacute life-threatening infectious diseases,which require intensive therapy, as well aswith the prevention of infections and rules ofhospital hygiene in the unit of intensivetherapy.135
