Razumeti pomen znanosti in pogojev zaraziskovalno delo ter ustvarjanje novegaznanja.Ustvariti razmišljujoc odnos doraziskav v biomedicini, molekularni biologijiin genski tehnologiji. Spoznati osnoveraziskovalnega dela v biomedicini inbioznanostih, povezavo in pomenepidemiologije, biostatistike in njenihorodij(statisticnih testov, vrednotenja), vlogaizsledkov za javno zdravje.Študent se bo na podlagi osnovnih znanjpoglobil v nekatera od naštetih poglavijtelemedicine in medicinske informatike znamenom globljega razumevanja inobvladovanja le-teh.Predvideni študijski rezultati:Znanje in razumevanje pomena znanosti,kriticnega vrednotenje izsledkov raziskav vbiomedicini in preverjanje domnev.Zavedanje možnih napak pri analizah,sklepanju in prikazovanju rezultatov.Sposobnost analize znanstveno raziskovalnihprispevkov, vsebinska in kvalitativna.Prenesljive/kljucne spretnosti in drugiatributi: Nacrtovanje raziskave, pomennatancnosti in tocnosti pri zbiranju podatkovin izvajanju raziskave, obdelava inkvantitativna/kvalitativna interpretacijapridobljenih rezultatov v skladu z znanimidejstvi in pridobljenimi novimi spoznanji.Po zaključku tega predmeta bo študentrazumel in poznal področja telemedicine inmedicinske informatike, znal uporabljatidoločene aplikacije iz naštetih področij.Prenosljive/ključne spretnosti in drugiatributi: Samostojno delo z računalnikom Uporaba računalniških programov ininformacijske tehnologije Sposobnost iskanja podatkovMetode poučevanja in učenja:Understanding the meaning of science andresearch work conditions and new knowledgeacquiring. Establishment of contemplativeapproach to researches in biomedicine,molecular biology and genetic technology.Acquiring of basic knowledge about researchingin biomedicine and biosciences, relationshipand importance of epidemilogy, biostatisticand their tools (statistic tests, evaluation)importance of findings to public health.On the basis of their knowledge, students willdeepen it in some of the listed telemedicineand medical informatics chapters in order tobetter understand and utilize acquiredknowledge.Intended learning outcomes:Knowledge and Understanding of the meaningof science, critical assesment of the researchresults in biomedicine and hypothesis testing.Awareness of posibility of false analise results,conclusions and result presentation.
