Auto- und Caravanstellplätze mit Stromanschluss sowie 20 unterschiedlich<br />
ausgestattete Ferienhütten. Sie wohnen direkt am Strand oder angenehm<br />
im Schutz der Bäume. Der Platz verfügt über zwei Servicegebäude.<br />
Eines wurde im Sommer 2009 fertiggestellt, das andere im Frühjahr<br />
2009 grundrenoviert. Hier <strong>fi</strong>nden unsere Gäste gratis u.a. hervorragende<br />
Dusch- und Sanitäreinrichtungen, Küchen, Waschgelegenheiten für Geschirr<br />
und Wäsche, sehr gute Grillmöglichkeiten usw. Den Gästen in Poroholma<br />
stehen auch Strandsauna und Badestrand kostenlos zur Verfügung.<br />
Die Saunen wurden im Frühjahr 2009 komplett renoviert. Bei der Rezeption<br />
be<strong>fi</strong>nden sich ein Strandcafé mit uneingeschränkten Schankrechten<br />
und Sonnenterrasse sowie ein kleiner Laden, wo Sie Lebensmittel und andere<br />
Freizeitartikel erstehen können. Im alten Spitzendomizil auf dem Gelände<br />
be<strong>fi</strong>ndet sich das niveauvolle Restaurant, wo täglich Mittagessen und<br />
Schärenbuffet serviert werden. Poroholma bietet auch etliche Aktivitäten,<br />
z.B. Kinderspielpark, Minigolf, Fahrrad- und Wasserscooterverleih, Badetonne<br />
u.a. In der Nähe des Platzes <strong>fi</strong>nden Sie auch ein Freibad und eine<br />
Freilichtbühne. Der Platz liegt ca. 3 km von Alt-Rauma entfernt. Dorthin<br />
besteht eine Stadtbahnverbindung. Auf dem Platz gibt es auch eine öffentliche<br />
städtische Wasserbusstation. Von hier aus können Sie die Schären<br />

The entirely renovated Poroholma<br />
holiday centre, located<br />
at the end of Otanlahti bay by<br />
the seashore, offers an excellent<br />
camp site next to the Rauma city<br />
centre. The site includes a parking<br />
lot equipped with electricity for<br />
120 cars and caravans, and 20 holiday<br />
cabins with different levels of equipment. Guests can stay by the seashore<br />
or in a cosy area sheltered by trees. The site includes two mainte-<br />

nance buildings, one of which was completed for summer 2009. The other<br />
was entirely renovated during spring 2009. In the maintenance building,<br />
guests can use clean showers and bathrooms, separate washing-up and<br />
laundry facilities and high-quality barbecue facilities free of charge. In Poroholma,<br />
guests can also use the beach saunas and beaches at no cost. The<br />
saunas were entirely renovated in spring 2009. At the reception, there is<br />
a seashore cafeteria with full on-licences, a sunny terrace and a small grocery<br />
shop for food and leisure equipment. The site includes an old wood<br />
and lace villa with a top-notch restaurant offering daily lunch menus and<br />
an islander‘s buffet. The Poroholma centre also offers plenty of activities,<br />
including a playground for children, a minigolf course, bicycles and water<br />
scooters for rent, a bath barrel, etc. There is also an outdoor swimming<br />
pool and a summer theatre near the site. Poroholma is located approximately<br />
2 miles from Rauma‘s old town which is accessible by city train from<br />
the holiday centre. The site includes the town‘s of<strong>fi</strong>cial water bus port for<br />
visits to the Rauma area islands and tourist attraction islands. Detailed information<br />
