Tornio Camping is a quiet camp site located on an island. The services of
downtown Tornio and Haaparanta, each less than 2 miles away, can be
accessed by bicycle or on foot. The site offers camping cabins and a spacious
caravan and camping site. The cosy, renovated maintenance building provides
sauna facilities at night. Barbecuing can be done at a lean-to or at one
of the outdoor barbecues. In terms of children‘s activities, the beach and the
playground are the places to be. There are bicycles, boats and a traditional
beach sauna for rent. New minigolf on the site. You can order breakfast in
the cafeteria. The site is open between 3 May and 30 September (closed at
Midsummer between 22 and 23 June), and at other times (when available)
by telephone booking in advance.
