Seit einigen Monaten gehört der meistgelesene Karriere-Ratgeber der Schweiz zum together-Portfolio. Damit wird einiges neu – es bleibt aber auch viel Bewährtes beim Alten. Wir fühlen uns verpflichtet, die hohe redaktionelle Qualität des Career Starters fortzuführen. Gleichzeitig haben wir das Erscheinungsbild und die Struktur des Karriere-Ratgebers komplett überarbeitet. Der neue Career Starter erscheint frischer und moderner. Zudem wurde der Karriere-Ratgeber gemäss unserem «Berufseinstiegs-Trichter» – siehe Seite 6 – gegliedert.

The opportunity<br />
The graduates@swissre programme is a handson,<br />
steep-learning-curve introduction to our<br />
world and provides talented individuals like<br />
you with a unique opportunity to discover the<br />
reinsurance business from Swiss Re's perspective<br />
in an increasingly demanding market environment.<br />
We offer you exceptional training<br />
along your chosen development track. The 18<br />
month programme combines general business<br />
learning modules and specific technical modules<br />
allowing you to develop a well-rounded<br />
curriculum including analytical, communication<br />
and leadership skills development linked to<br />
Swiss Re's corporate principles and strategy.<br />
Additionally, you will undertake a 16 – 20<br />
week job rotation and will meet and interact<br />
with people from different countries, with<br />
varying backgrounds and different professional<br />
experiences. Doctors, lawyers, engineers,<br />
actuaries, economists, mathematicians, chemists,<br />
geologists, meteorologists ... you'll find<br />
them all working alongside you, allowing you<br />
to experience the uniqueness of each individual<br />
profession and Swiss Re's inclusive environment.<br />
About you<br />
We are looking for successful graduates with<br />
strong interpersonal skills, who distinguish<br />
themselves not just in terms of academic<br />
excellence, but in international experience,<br />
extra-curricular activities and (given the global<br />
nature of our business) language skills. You must<br />
be able to analyze and think conceptually, deal<br />
efficiently with a number of complex challenges<br />
simultaneously, and deliver high-quality<br />
solutions. Also, you should be ready to take<br />
the initiative, and accept responsibility for<br />
your own decisions and actions. We accept<br />
candidates with BA / MA degrees as well as<br />
PhD students from any kind of discipline and<br />
who have little or no work experience. As a<br />
graduate you will be based at one of our regional<br />
offices in the Americas, Asia or Europe.<br />
