Business segments
Pharmaceuticals
The Pharmaceutical segment includes products
in the following therapeutic areas:
anti-fungal, anti-infective, cardiovascular,
contraceptive, dermatology, neurology, oncology,
pain management, psychotropic (central
nervous system) and urology fields. These
products are distributed both directly and
through wholesalers for use by health care
professionals and the general public.
Medical Devices & Diagnostics
The Medical Devices and Diagnostics segment
includes a broad range of products used principally
in the professional fields by surgeons,
physicians, nurses, therapists, hospitals, diagnostic
laboratories and clinics.
Consumer
The Consumer segment manufactures and
markets a broad range of products used in
the baby and child-care, skin care, oral and
wound care, and women's health care fields.
These products are marketed through retail
channels and pharmacies.
Johnson & Johnson in Switzerland
Currently Johnson & Johnson Switzerland has
nearly 6'500 employees in market ing, sales,
finance, manufacturing, research and development,
engineering and many other fields.
In Switzerland, Johnson & Johnson is located
in several cantons (SO-TI-VS-BL-NE-ZG-BE-SH).
