Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
seit unserem letzten Bericht gibt es mal wieder einiges
zu erzählen: 15.-17.01.2010 HEINZ-GLAS Fußball-
Hallen-turnier!
unterhalten. Wir haben sehr viel gelacht und getanzt.
Es war ein Riesenspaß.
Als Dankeschön haben wir dem HEINZ-GLAS team
noch unsere schönen Düfte überreicht.
Dear colleagues!
We have something new to tell you since our last report.
On January 15–17th, 2010 the HEINZ-GLAS international
Soccer Tournament took place. On Friday at 9am, fourteen
female soccer players, eight male soccer players and two
of our very best fans started their trip to Kleintettau. After a
six hour drive we reached the beautiful snowy landscape of
Kleintettau. We checked into our rooms, freshened up a bit
and drove up to the HEINZ-GLAS facilities. There we saw
glass production and visited the new glass museum. It was
a very memorable and interesting experience. We spent the
evening with Mr. Heinz and his soccer team dinning in a
nice “polish” restaurant.
The tournament started on Saturday at 8:30am. Our
men’s team and the HEINZ-GLAS male team opened the
tournament. Our women’s team then noticed that the hall
floor was quite slippery which in the past competitions
proved to be a real challenge for us. quickly we deceived a
plan: to apply hairspray onto the soles of our shoes!
Unfortunately, all efforts had been in vain, the slippery
surface, not to mention our strong opponents, were our
downfall as we took last place. Though most importantly we
had a fun time participating.
After the tournament we visited another HEINZ-GLAS
production facility this time in Piesau. And when the tour was
over, all participants in the tournament were invited to the
awards ceremony, dinning in the Thüringer Forest restaurant.
We had a very good time with music, funny games, lots of
laughter and dancing. It was a great time!
We thanked the HEINZ-GLAS team by presenting them with
our exquisite fragrances.
