wool.
The impressive paintings by H.D. Tylle were created at the Ipfhofen site, which in the landscape
painting can be seen from the southern end of the Schwanberg elevation and behind the center of
Iphofen.
The two sides of the triptych show gypsum quarrying near Markt Nordheim. The middle painting,
which was created during the day, depicts the vast mine in Hüttenheim where anhydrite is mined for
the production of calcium sulfate screed.
The belt conveyor at the Iphofen site is used to produce drywall. The gypsum paste, which is spread
onto a cardboard sheet from a flow mixer, hardens on the conveyor belts that measure several hundred
meters in length. The drywall can then be cut into panels of varying lengths.
