RECIPE
Curious for more?
Recipe suggestion for a homemade peanut
butter, which clearly underlines point number
6 and makes you want more.
PEANUT BUTTER
• 1 glass (300 ml) empty, lockable
• 300 g unsalted, peeled peanuts
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons of dandelion honey
• 3 teaspoons of organic rapeseed oil, as
needed
Preheat the oven to 180° Celcius, cover the
baking tray with baking paper and distribute
the peanuts evenly on top. Roast for 3 minutes,
then turn and roast for another 5 minutes,
until the peanuts are lightly browned and
fragrant. Take the baking sheet out of the oven
and let the peanuts cool down.
For crunchy peanut butter, remove 1 / of the
peanuts and coarsely chop them in the blender.
Transfer to a small bowl and set aside.
Put the rest of the peanuts in the blender and
chop on high for 1 minute. Use a spatula to
slide the pieces off the sides of the blender.
Grind again for 2-3 minutes in the mixer until
the mixture is shiny and smooth.
Season the peanut butter with salt and honey
and mix again. If the peanut butter seems too
firm, add a little oil as needed.
For crunchy peanut butter, add the peanut
pieces and mix with a spoon – do not mix again
in the mixer. Store peanut butter in a dark and
dry place. Once opened, the peanut butter can
be kept for around two weeks.
Have fun and bon appetit! (mgp,mb)
