THE THERMAL SPRINGS OF BAGNO VIGNONI
The Adler Spa Resort Thermae is built in the style of a
Tuscan villa, with a total of 90 rooms and plenty of space
for people who love nature and relaxation. The resort is
nestled in the gentle hilly landscape of the UNESCOprotected
art, nature and culture park Val d’Orcia. Even
the Etruscans bathed in the thermal springs of Bagno
Vignoni. Since ancient times the springs have been
known for their healing properties, especially when it
comes to skin and joints. Today the water is directed
into a 36-degree-celsius-warm indoor and outdoor
thermal pool. The resort's 1,000-square-meter wellness
area also has a sports pool and, in the modern spa area,
a panorama sauna, organic sauna, steam grotto and
herbal caldarium. These provide the necessary relaxation
after the many activities on offer such as an e-bike tour
through the area or excursions to Siena, Florence or
the wine town of Montepulciano, known for Brunello di
Montalcino.
